SOCIETE GENERALE–FORGE UPDATES THE “COINVERTIBLE” TO ALLOW FOR FASTER SETTLEMENT

Paris – October 27th, 2023 – Following the issuance of the EUR CoinVertible (EURCV) in April 2023, Societe Generale-FORGE announces today the update of the smart contract on the Ethereum public blockchain.

While maintaining the key components of the EURCV such as the secure legal structure, sound and transparent collateral management, transfers between whitelisted participants are now immediate (subject to Ethereum public blockchain delays) and more secure. All previous positions have been replicated with new tokens in the revised smartcontract, and the initial tokens have been cancelled.

As of today, the smart contract’s public address of the EUR CoinVertible is the following: 0x5F7827FDeb7c20b443265Fc2F40845B715385Ff2. The source code will be published, like what we did for the initial smart contract, as well as the proof of audit by Hacken.
