Guillaume Chatain appointed Head of Sales at Societe Generale-FORGE

Societe Generale-FORGE announces the arrival of Guillaume Chatain as Head of Sales. This appointment comes at a crucial juncture for SG-FORGE, a year marked by significant advancements and a strong momentum built throughout 2023. Chatain’s appointment is set to further bolster the firm’s management team, paving the way for an accelerated evolution and expansion.

As part of his role, Guillaume Chatain will be responsible for acquiring new customers, build partnerships, and widespread the adoption of the EUR CoinVertible (EURCV) as the first EUR stablecoin issued by a fully regulated subsidiary of a global bank, which token was listed in 2023 on Bitstamp. His role extends globally and comes in an unprecedented 2024 context for the ecosystem with the arrival of MiCA, a growing interest for stablecoins and significant tailwinds for tokenized securities real-worlds assets (RWAs).

Bringing over two decades of sales leadership experience to the table his tenure includes 15 years dedicated to the finance sector, underscoring a deep-seated expertise in bridging traditional financial markets with the burgeoning sector of digital assets.

Prior to joining SG-FORGE, Chatain honed his skills at Coinbase as the Head of Institutional Sales EMEA and APAC, demonstrating a keen acumen for navigating the digital currency landscape. His entrepreneurial spirit shone through as the Founder and CEO of ResonanceX, an innovative digital broker-dealer that introduced the first Structured Product to clear, settle, and receive custody on a public blockchain. His career also encompasses a significant stint at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, where he served as a Managing Director, further solidifying his credentials in traditional finance.
