Stéphanie Cabossioras appointed General Secretary at Societe Generale-FORGE

Societe Generale-FORGE announces the arrival of Stéphanie Cabossioras as General Secretary. A key appointment while Societe Generale – FORGE announced on July,1st a series of significant developments on its EURCoinVertible stablecoin, in compliance with MiCA following a series of milestones in 2023.

As part of his role, Stéphanie Cabossioras will be responsible for Societe Generale-FORGE’s corporate functions, including regulatory, legal, compliance and financial aspects.

Stéphanie will focus on ensuring that Societe Generale-FORGE’s services and products comply with applicable legal and regulatory rules. She will be fully committed to supporting SG-FORGE’s growth, promoting its vision, and contributing to the development of a more open, transparent, and efficient financial ecosystem.

Prior to joining SG-FORGE, Stéphanie had a unique career path combining both positions within high public authorities and key roles within key crypto companies. From her first role as a payment expert at la Banque de France, she then continued as a Senior Financial Auditor at la Cour des comptes, and a significant 5 years as Head of European Affairs and then Deputy General Counsel at l’Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF). These experiences have given her a clear understanding of how traditional financial regulations work, and the need to adapt them to the challenges of tomorrow’s financial markets.
